Cocoons are offered in five patented styles that are precision engineered using OveRx® design principles to deliver 360° of Advanced UV Protection®.   All Cocoons sunglasses feature Polaré® polarized lenses that provide complete protection from the harmful effects of UV A&B rays, and cut through harsh glare.  Adjustable Flex2Fitâ„¢ temples deliver a precise fit that eliminates discomfort when worn for prolonged periods of time. The patented styles are lightweight and extremely durable, a statement reiterated by the Live Eyewear limited lifetime warranty.  All Cocoons include a custom soft neoprene case and large lens cloth.

 

Lens Information

 

Cocoons feature the polarized Polaré lens system. Extremely lightweight and scratch resistant, these lenses eliminate 100% of damaging UVA and UVB light while cutting through harsh glare. Polaré lenses meet strict ANSI Z80-3 eyewear standards for impact resistance and are available in gray, amber, yellow or copper tints. The distortion-free permanently injected polycarbonate side lenses eliminate penetrating peripheral light that can cause unwanted glare and distracting reflections. The side lenses are precisely regulated to match the tint and transmission of front lenses, providing a uniformly filtered environment for the eyes.

• Flex2Fit
Cocoons feature Flex2Fit® temples that can be easily adjusted to deliver a perfect fit. Flex2Fit temples not only improve the fit, but also ensure maximum comfort for extended wear.
• Side Shields
Side shields allow for optically correct peripheral vision. Scratch and impact resistant, the UV400 polycarbonate side shields are permanently injected for the life of the frame.
• Ballistic Nylon
Ultra light weight ballistic nylon frames are so durable that we warranty them for life. The frame can be twisted but will rarely break. All frame designs are patented worldwide.
• Soft Touch
All frames feature Soft Touch®, a specialized finish that is applied to the frame to improve comfort and feel.
• OveRx
OveRx engineering principals guide the design process. The result is 360° of Advanced UV Protection, from all angles. Cocoons feature unique underside protection (scoops) that even block reflected glare from entering the below the eye. Available in five sizes and styles, Cocoons can be worn over prescription eyewear or as conventional sunglasses. (There is nothing conventional about them!)
• Polaré Lenses
Cocoons feature polarized Polaré lenses, the highest quality lens in the OveRx category. The optical performance of Polaré is crisp, effective and unsurpassed. Highly scratch resistant and impact resistant, the lenses deliver 100% UVA & UVB protection.
• Case and Cloth
Every pair includes the DuraClothâ„¢, a large micro fiber cloth that can tackle the dirtiest of lenses, and our world famous floating Cocoons case. This neoprene storage case will float if dropped in the water (even if your glasses are still inside it), and features a quick clip and a belt clip.
